Pro-Marcos Vlogger Fatally Shot, Partner Injured in Caloocan City

A woman identified as a vlogger supporting President Marcos was killed and her partner wounded in a shooting incident early on Friday morning, Caloocan City police said. “[The] neighbor of the victims … heard several gunshots outside his residence,” a police report said. “He immediately went outside to check and discovered [the vlogger] lying unconscious on the road with a gunshot wound to the head, while [her partner] was still conscious and suffering from gunshot wounds.” According to the report, the partner was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. It added that investigators were looking into a motorcycle riding tandem with another unidentified male individual as suspects. “For now, we have no update regarding the motive and other details. The case conference of the Caloocan City Police Station is ongoing,” National Capital Region Police Office spokesperson Maj. Hazel Asilo told reporters in a phone interview. “According [to her social media] posts, the victim is a BBM (Bongbong Marcos) loyalist,” Asilo also said.
