Ridon denies conflict of interest in VP Duterte impeachment trial

Bicol Saro Party-List Representative Terry Ridon, serving as a prosecutor in the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte, has denied any conflict of interest stemming from his prior consultancy services to the Davao City Government. Ridon asserted that his role was limited to policy consultancy on poverty alleviation and that his current duty is distinct and clear. However, VP Duterte countered, claiming Ridon received payment without substantial contribution, thus raising conflict of interest concerns.
