Cambodia's Ministry of Water Resources Holds Training on Public Finance Management

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology of Cambodia on Monday morning, September 21, 2026, inaugurated a training course on "Budget Preparation, Performance Evaluation of Budgetary Achievements, and Guidelines on Public Financial Management" at the Bassac II Conference Hall. The training was attended by leaders and civil servants under the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, representatives from the Tonle Sap Lake Authority, and the Cambodian National Mekong River Commission. Instructors from the Ministry of Economy and Finance were also present, with support from the Public Financial Management Reform Program. The primary objective of this training is to strengthen and enhance the capacity of leaders and officials at all levels of the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology in preparing and evaluating budgetary achievements, as well as implementing guidelines on public financial management. This is expected to contribute to the achievement of the ministry's policy objectives, particularly the "Pentagonal Strategy," national development plans, and various government programs.
