Kampot Province's Mekong River Embankment Collapse Prompts Restoration Efforts
Officials from the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology and Kampot Province Governor Hun Chanda inspected the collapsed Mekong River embankment in Kampot City. Technical studies are 80-90% complete, with restoration work expected to begin by year-end after the water recedes. The affected area remains cordoned off for safety.
