In Da Nang City, a major urban center in central Vietnam, the Economic Crimes Investigation Department of the City Police (Cảnh sát kinh tế) has successfully busted and eradicated several economic crime cases employing sophisticated methods. The uncovered cases include insurance fraud and the production and sale of counterfeit dried seaweed products. These crimes not only inflict economic damage on ordinary citizens and businesses but are also malicious acts that undermine market integrity.
