‘Bayawak’ rescued in Subic Freeport, brought to wildlife center

A marbled water monitor lizard, locally known as “bayawak,” was rescued in Subic Freeport and brought to a wildlife rescue center for assessment and rehabilitation, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Central Luzon reported on Saturday.
