Cambodia's Inspectorate Minister instructed provincial officials to preserve existing achievements, build new ones, and strengthen internal solidarity and cooperation with local authorities during the inauguration of the new chief of the Kratie Provincial Inspectorate. This aligns with the new government's "Pentagonal Strategy Phase I" focus on "Reform and Governance Strengthening."

Minister of Inspectorate, Sok Soken, has provided important recommendations to the new chief of the Kratie Provincial Inspectorate and all civil servants to continue preserving old achievements, building new ones, strengthening internal solidarity, and increasing close cooperation with all levels of local authorities. These recommendations were made by Sok Soken on September 14, 2026, during the ceremony to officially announce the appointment of On Monthri as the new chief of the Kratie Provincial Inspectorate, replacing Nhip Vichetr, the former chief who has retired. He also participated in a meeting to greet and inquire about the well-being of the leadership and officials of the Kratie Provincial Inspectorate. Concurrently, the Minister of Inspectorate highlighted the wise leadership guidance of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and the long-term vision of Samdech Maha Boppha Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister, in implementing the "Pentagonal Strategy Phase I." This strategy focuses on "Reform and Governance Strengthening" through the implementation of the "P4J4" strategy to contribute to strengthening cleanliness and transparency in public administration. After the appointment ceremony, Sok Soken continued to preside over a meeting to greet and inquire about the well-being of the leadership and officials of the Kratie Provincial Inspectorate to directly listen to their work situation, challenges, and future work directions at the sub-national level. During the occasion, Sok Soken praised the initiative of the department and highlighted numerous work achievements during the 7th legislature, as of the first semester of 2026. These include inspecting 2,807 units, resolving 188 complaints, monitoring the implementation of laws for 3,853 targets, as well as conducting 600 legal education and dissemination sessions and public forums. In addition, His Excellency the Minister informed them about the issuance of important legal documents by the Ministry of Inspectorate, including the Declaration on Internal Orders, the Declaration on the Code of Ethics for Officials, the preparation of two legal vision documents (Law on Inspectorate and Law on Complaints and Appeals), as well as the Public Sector Scorecard system.
