BEIJING, June 29, 2026 (KPT) – Cambodia has unveiled a new “Open Day with DPM” programme aimed at strengthening investment aftercare and giving Chinese investors direct access to senior government leadership to address business needs and explore new opportunities, officials said Sunday. Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, who also serves as First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), announced the initiative while delivering a keynote address at the Cambodia Investment Promotion Seminar in Beijing on Saturday. The launch followed the successful official friendship visit between the leaders of Cambodia and China earlier this month. The programme is designed to complement Cambodia’s existing investor support services by offering Chinese business executives and companies operating in the country an opportunity to meet directly with the Deputy Prime Minister. During the quarterly sessions, participants will be able to discuss investment opportunities, receive updates on Cambodia’s evolving investment climate, and seek solutions to operational challenges through high-level consultations. According to the CDC, the “Open Day with DPM” will be held every three months, with schedules announced in advance to allow companies sufficient time to register and participate.
