Senior Citizen Dies After Falling Off Tricycle, Hit by SUV
A senior citizen died in Calasiao, Pangasinan, after falling from a tricycle due to a rear-end collision with a van, only to be hit by an SUV. Police are questioning the drivers involved.
CALASIAO, Pangasinan – A senior citizen died Friday night after falling off a tricycle and being hit by a sport utility vehicle (SUV) in this town. Reports said the tricycle was rearended by a van, causing the victim to fall along the road in Barangay San Miguel at past 10 p.m. The victim reportedly landed on the path of the SUV, whose driver failed to step on the brakes. He was declared dead on arrival at the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City. The drivers of the vehicles involved in the incident were brought to the police station for questioning.
