Tehoru Indigenous Communities Demand Recognition of Ancestral Territories

Ten indigenous communities from 10 villages in Tehoru District, Central Maluku Regency, petitioned the local legislative council for recognition of their ancestral territories. They expressed concerns over production forest area boundaries and the Manusela National Park border, using traditional ceremonies to symbolize unity and resolve.
