Cambodia to Recruit for French Language Teaching Methodology Master's Program

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has announced an entrance examination for the 8th cohort of its Master's program specializing in French Language Teaching Methodology for the 2026-2027 academic year. This program will be conducted over two years on a part-time basis, with classes held on Saturdays and Sundays. The start date for the program is November 1, 2026, at the National Institute of Education. Ten students will be selected for a scholarship, while 20 students will be admitted to the fee-paying track. Eligibility criteria for the scholarship track include: 1. Being a civil servant within the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. 2. Having at least three years of work experience within the government framework. 3. Possessing an administrative certificate issued by the head of the unit. 4. Holding a Bachelor's degree in French or an equivalent qualification. 5. For those with Bachelor's degrees in other fields, a French language qualification of at least DELF B2 level is required. 6. French language teachers or teachers responsible for teaching French, holding other Bachelor's degrees, must have a French language qualification of at least DELF B1 level. Eligibility criteria for the fee-paying track include: 1. Being a general candidate. 2. Holding a Bachelor's degree in French or an equivalent qualification. 3. For those with Bachelor's degrees in other fields, a French language qualification of at least DELF B2 level is required. 4. French language teachers or teachers responsible for teaching French, holding other Bachelor's degrees, must have a French language qualification of at least DELF B1 level. The application period for the entrance examination will be open from the date of this announcement until September 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The examination will take place on October 3, 2026, at the National Institute of Education. The exam subjects will include French language, teaching methodology, and general knowledge.
