However, a joint team from the Denpasar Police, South Denpasar Police, and Bali Police Criminal Investigation Unit successfully apprehended the suspect less than three hours later in the Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai area, South Denpasar. Investigations revealed that MZ had been in Indonesia for approximately one year on a tourist visa and had overstayed his permit.
