Magway Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko, accompanied by members of the region government and departmental officials, inspected the construction of the two-storey Recreation Center (RC) building at Yenangyaung University, the site designated for construction of the Convocation Hall, and the 100-acre solar-powered irrigation project for converting upland fields into paddy fields in the Thone-Hset-Chauk Village Tract of Yenangyaung Township on the afternoon of August 7. First, the Chief Minister and officials discussed the necessary requirements for the construction of the two-storey Recreation Center (RC), measuring 186 feet by 160 feet, at Yenangyaung University, and inspected the construction site. Next, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the site designated for construction of the Yenangyaung University Convocation Hall, measuring 232 feet by 164 feet, as well as the university sports hall. The Chief Minister discussed with responsible officials the necessary repairs and maintenance to be carried out at the sports hall. Afterwards, the Chief Minister and officials proceeded to the 100-acre solar-powered irrigation project for converting upland fields into paddy fields at field No. (32/B/1), West Field of Thone-Hset-ChaukTaung , in the Thone-Hset-Chauk Village Tract, Yenangyaung Township. They inspected the remaining 30 acres of land where the work is yet to be completed, gave necessary guidance and instructions, and stated that the Region Government would provide the necessary support for the project.
