Cambodia's Identification Department Seeks 30 Police Officers Across 6 Specializations

The Ministry of Interior has issued a notification regarding the competitive examination for the recruitment of national police officers for the year 2026. This examination aims to select a total of 30 police officers, including 9 women, to serve in the General Department of Identification across six different specializations. According to the notification dated September 4, 2026, the competitive examination is being held to recruit national police officers to fill the human resource needs of the General Department of Identification for the year 2026. The specializations and the number of candidates to be selected are as follows: * Information Technology (IT): 12 individuals (4 women) * Law: 4 individuals (1 woman) * Public Administration: 4 individuals (1 woman) * Accounting: 4 individuals (1 woman) * English Language: 3 individuals (1 woman) Basic Knowledge (for those with a high school diploma): 3 individuals (1 woman) General conditions for candidates of both sexes include being a Cambodian national with a clear permanent residence, a clear personal history, good conduct, and no prior criminal record. Candidates must also be physically fit and in good health, passing examinations for vision, hearing, nose, mouth, heart, lungs, tuberculosis, AIDS, blood type, and drug screening. Furthermore, candidates must not have any scars from injuries or tattoos. Male candidates must be at least 1.75 meters tall, while female candidates must be at least 1.65 meters tall, with a weight proportional to their height. Regarding age conditions, candidates with a high school diploma must be no older than 25 years old as of the examination date. Those with diplomas related to the selected specializations must be no older than 30 years old. Candidates holding a master's degree or higher related to the selected specializations must be no older than 35 years old as of the examination date. According to the defined schedule, the distribution of application forms will take place from September 21 to September 26, 2026. The acceptance of applications will be from September 28 to October 2, 2026. The location for distributing and receiving applications is the General Department of Identification.
