Farmers without Land Ownership Form 7 suffer losses

Farmers in nine villages in Utarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Territory, are suffering losses due to not obtaining Land Ownership Form 7, said U Hla Soe, a People's Assembly representative for the Pubbathiri constituency. On the 18th day of the second regular session of the third People's Assembly, held on July 3, U Hla Soe, the People's Assembly representative for the Pubbathiri constituency, asked a star question regarding the plan to obtain Land Ownership Form 7 for the nine villages and to change the UTM map to a coordinate system and issue an order, or not. In response, Dr. Ye Tint Htun, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, stated that the issuance of Form 7 can only proceed after coordinating with the relevant Nay Pyi Taw Council and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation to cancel the orders concerning the land areas of these nine villages. Dr. Ye Tint Htun, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, also stated that the villages that have not obtained Form 7 due to land area discrepancies are six villages from the Moe Soe village group, two villages from the Min Kone village group, and one village from the Thayet Taw village group.
