The Cambodian Ministry of Information announced on July 26th that an unexploded MK-84 bomb, dropped by the Thai military during past incursions into Cambodian territory, has been discovered. This finding serves as concrete evidence of the invasion, directly refuting the Thai military's repeated denials. Previously, spokespersons for the Thai military consistently denied the use of MK-84 bombs, asserting that all bombs dropped by their aircraft had detonated. However, the presence of this unexploded ordnance within Cambodian territory highlights a stark contradiction with these official statements. Net Phaktrar, Minister of Information, stated, "The remnants of this bomb are undeniable evidence that cannot be erased, distorted, or denied." He emphasized that repeated denials by the Thai military cannot make the evidence disappear nor transform wrongdoing into righteousness.
