    Tropical Storm Mekkhala has intensified outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), located about 1,590 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon on Saturday morning. The Philippine weather bureau forecasts it to enter PAR by Saturday evening or Sunday morning, where it will be named Francisco.
