Preah Sihanouk Military Sub-sector Operation Command Launches Annual Military Capability Enhancement Training

PREAH SIHANOUX, Cambodia – July 20, 2026 – The Preah Sihanouk Military Sub-sector Operation Command has officially opened its annual military capability enhancement training for 2026. The ceremony, held at the command headquarters in Village 1, Sangkat 1, Preah Sihanouk City, was presided over by Brigadier General Nou Samol, Commander of the Preah Sihanouk Military Sub-sector Operation Command. During his opening address, Brigadier General Nou Samol highlighted that the training, conducted annually, aims to refresh knowledge of new tactics and incorporate ideological education to boost the morale and combat readiness of all military personnel. He emphasized that the current period of peace and political stability in the country presents an excellent opportunity for the armed forces to diligently train and enhance their skills. This is crucial for preparing to fulfill duties and execute orders from higher authorities in the cause of defending the nation and the Cambodian people. Brigadier General Nou Samol also instructed the trainees to diligently adhere to the internal orders of the training course and uphold military discipline.
