Thailand's LO-CARB Launches Sustainability Alliance and Training Programs

Thai sustainability consultancy LO-CARB hosted an open house event titled "Thrive Through Sustainability" in Bangkok, announcing the launch of Thailand's first IFRS Sustainability Alliance and its designation as an ISSB Training Partner. The initiative aims to promote the adoption of international sustainability reporting standards among companies in Thailand. The IFRS Sustainability Alliance will provide support for companies to align their reporting with global sustainability disclosure standards. Through its role as an ISSB Training Partner, LO-CARB will offer training on the latest sustainability reporting standards to corporate personnel and professionals, thereby enhancing their expertise. In recent years, with the growing global interest in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing, sustainability disclosure has become crucial for companies to gain investor trust. In Thailand, aligning disclosures with international standards is expected to attract foreign investment and enhance the competitiveness of Thai companies. Through this alliance and training programs, LO-CARB plans to support Thai companies' sustainability efforts and contribute to improving the presence of Thai businesses in the international market.
