Indonesian Journalists Association Aims for Digital Transformation and Strengthened Press Presence
The new chairman of the Indonesian Journalists Association (SWI) Bali Provincial Chapter has announced plans for digital transformation and strengthening the organization's press presence. Following the inauguration of the new central leadership for 2026-2031, he expressed optimism for a faster and more effective organizational operation.
JAKARTA - The Chairman of the DPW Secretariat of the Indonesian Journalists (SWI) Bali Province, Erry Wibowo, and the Chairman of the SWI Bali Board of Trustees, Ferry Juan, S.H., conveyed congratulations and success for the inauguration of the SWI Central Leadership Council (DPP) for the period 2026-2031 which took place at the Grand Ballroom United Tractors, Jakarta, Sunday, July 19, 2026. Meanwhile, for the Bali DPW itself, the initial step is to prioritize the implementation of the strengthening of the management of the SWI DPD in 8 districts and 1 city in the province of Bali, as well as strengthening the image and existence of SWI in the province of Bali through communication programs, publications, and digital transformation of the organization. "I, as the Chairman of the Bali SWI DPW and Ir. Agus Sutiarso, M.Par., as the secretary of the DPW and all the management ranks, congratulate and wish success for the inauguration of the General Chairman and all the DPP SWI 2026-2031. We believe that the new leadership will be able to bring SWI to become a stronger press organization and a big house for Indonesian press people. Erry continued, "I assess that under the leadership of General Chairman Iskandar, S. Sos., the work culture at SWI has become much faster, responsive, and effective. Every organizational need, such as requests for letters, administration, and coordination between regions, can be followed up and obtained certainty on the same day. Meanwhile, according to the Secretary of the Bali SWI DPW, Agus Sutiar, prioritizing the implementation of the strengthening of the DPD SWI management in 8 districts in Bali.
