According to the Myanmar Fire Brigade, a MARK ll vehicle driving from Pyay to Yangon skidded and hit a Kukko tree, killing two people on board. The incident occurred around 6:30 PM on September 7, between mileage posts (34/0) and (34/1) on the Yangon-Pyay Road in Yoe Gyi village, Kyingauk village tract, Yangontoun Township, Ayeyarwady Region. Upon receiving a report that a white TOYOTA MARK ll vehicle, traveling from Pyay to Yangon, had skidded and collided with a Kukko tree, a fire engine and firefighters from the Yangontoun Township Fire Station were dispatched to carry out rescue operations. As a result of the incident, two males on board the vehicle died. The deceased were transported to Yangontoun Township General Hospital by hearse by the Thitsar Shin Social Rescue Association, according to the Myanmar Fire Brigade.
