PNP to honor Negros cop who died in rescue attempt
The Philippine National Police (PNP) will posthumously honor Police Master Sergeant Fernando Marfa, 40, who died while attempting to rescue two individuals swept away by strong river currents in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental. Marfa was trying to save two Bantay Dagat members when he was also caught in the current.
