AI Summary

The VSIP Industrial Park in Lang Son province, northern Vietnam, is accelerating its infrastructure development and has already attracted approximately $125 million in investment from nine investors. Located on a key trade route between Vietnam and China, the park aims for green and smart development.

VSIP Lang Son is entering the phase of technical infrastructure construction on the handed-over land, while also recording positive signals from secondary investors. As of early September, the project had completed land clearance for phase one, covering an area of 217.2 hectares, creating favorable conditions for the implementation of technical infrastructure items. Land clearance for phase two is also being carried out by the local authorities to meet future development needs. At the construction site, the pace of work is being accelerated. By early September, about 140 hectares had been leveled and road foundations constructed to the required elevation, with excavation and embankment ongoing on over 50.2 hectares. The infrastructure for the clean water plant of the VSIP Lang Son industrial park is being fast-tracked. After more than two years of implementation, the construction site has undergone significant changes. From areas still in the site preparation phase in the early days, many areas now gradually form clearly demarcated plots, internal roads, and technical infrastructure items, progressively shaping the appearance of a modern industrial park and laying the foundation to welcome investors. As of September, the Project has attracted nine investors for production projects with a total investment capital of approximately $125 million. Area surrounding the VSIP Lang Son office. The project is located at the gateway of trade between Vietnam and China, connecting with the Nam Ninh - Lang Son - Hanoi economic corridor, one of the trade routes between southern China and the key economic region of Northern Vietnam. The project is oriented towards developing a green, smart, and sustainable industrial park model, focusing on resource efficiency, environmental management, and the application of technology in operations. These are criteria that international businesses are increasingly considering when choosing production locations, amid growing requirements for sustainable development linked to supply chains. As one of the province's large-scale industrial projects, VSIP Lang Son is expected to expand industrial land availability, supplement production infrastructure supply, and create more opportunities for the locality to access new investment capital flows. In the context of ongoing supply chain restructuring in Southeast Asia, advantages in location, transportation, and access to international trade routes can create favorable conditions for processing, manufacturing, supporting industries, logistics, and export-oriented production. With its proximity to the province's border gate system and inter-regional transportation network, VSIP Lang Son is positioned to become a hub connecting production with domestic and international markets.
