Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Phase 3 Development on Track, Land Sales Strong

The Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) has revealed that the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Phase 3 development, a key project under the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), is progressing as planned. According to the authority, land sales within the industrial estate totaled 6,000 rai (approximately 9.6 square kilometers) in the first nine months of the year. This progress indicates that the large-scale development projects promoted by the Thai government are steadily achieving results. The Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate has long played a crucial role as a hub for the petrochemical industry and related sectors in Thailand. Phase 3 development aims to expand existing infrastructure and attract new industries, contributing to enhanced international competitiveness. The IEAT plans to continue monitoring the progress of the development plan and implementing measures to promote both domestic and foreign investment. In particular, the authority aims to achieve sustainable industrial development by focusing on attracting advanced technology industries and environmentally friendly green industries.
