Ayeyarwady-Yangtze Cultural and Regional Development Festival to be held in Mandalay for three days

The "Ayeyarwady-Yangtze Cultural and Regional Development Festival" will be held in Mandalay city for three days, according to a press conference held at the Chin Taw Yan Buddhist Monastery on July 21st. The "Ayeyarwady-Yangtze Cultural and Regional Development Festival," organized by the Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) Mandalay Branch, will be held at the Mandalay Convention Center in Chanmyathazi Township, Mandalay city, from November 1st to 3rd. Along with the ceremony to inform the public about the upcoming Ayeyarwady-Yangtze Cultural Festival, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was also signed between the Mandalay Region Youth Entrepreneurs Association (MRYEA), the Myanmar Youth Development Association (Central) Mandalay Branch, and the Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) Mandalay Branch, it was learned. It was explained by officials that the festival is intended to further strengthen China-Myanmar friendship, promote regional development, and increase opportunities for foreign investment. The festival will include B2B matching involving embassies, companies, and organizations from abroad, panel discussions with economic experts, and MOU signing ceremonies, as well as contests for Myanmar's traditional Thanaka, tea, and cheik longyi, and Chinese traditional calligraphy and paper cutting competitions. U Sai Aung Kyi, the Minister for Shan Ethnic Affairs of the Mandalay Region Government, U Kyaw Min, the Chairman of the Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) Mandalay Branch, along with association officials and businessmen, attended the ceremony.
