Honoring Victorious Athletes: MOFR UM delivered the congratulatory speech

The honoring ceremony for the victorious athletes representing the Ministry of Finance and Revenue who won gold medals in the Men's 6-players competition and the Men's Event (3) competition, as well as the overall championship shield at the 2026 Inter-Ministry Traditional Chinlone (Men's) Tournament held from July 1st to July 6, at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw, was held Tuesday morning at the Myat Pan Thazin Hall of the Myanma Economic Bank under the Ministry of Finance and Revenue. Union Minister for Finance and Revenue Dr. Kan Zaw attended the ceremony and delivered an address. At the ceremony, the Union Minister stated that it is very proud and delighted that the sports team won first prizes in both the Men's 6-players competition and the Men's Event (3) competition at this year's Inter-Ministry Traditional Chinlone (Men's) Tournament, and deservedly clinched the overall championship shield, thereby further maintaining and elevating the good reputation of the ministry. He also expressed his special thanks to the athletes who competed hard to achieve such victories, as well as to the team coaches, managers, and supervisors who provided close supervision and support. The honoring ceremony was attended by the Deputy Ministers for Finance and Revenue, the Permanent Secretary, departmental heads, supervisors, coaches, and the victorious athletes, it’s reported.
