Cambodia Provides Support to Families of Border Guards

On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, government officials visited families of soldiers stationed at the front lines of border defense to offer support and inquire about their well-being. This initiative, led by Dr. Pan Kham Bunthoun, Deputy Director of the Prime Minister's Cabinet and Deputy Head of the Government Working Group for Banteay Meanchey Province, underscores the government's attention to the welfare of military personnel and their families. The visits took place in two villages: Boeng Chongrok Techo Chhneah Chhneah and Boeng 75 Techo Chhneah Chhneah, where families of soldiers bravely defending the nation reside. The support provided includes donations from Dr. Pan Kham Bunthoun and Mrs. Sek Sereyrothana, consisting of 25 kilograms of rice, a dozen bottles of fish sauce, a dozen bottles of soy sauce, canned fish, and $100 in cash per family. This gesture of support is a testament to the care and attention extended by Prime Minister Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Mrs. Kittipreah Bandid, as well as Prime Minister Mahaboboratechibati and Dr. Bunthoun, along with local authorities.
