The Cambodian Ministry of Information's Veterans and Retirees Association visited two former officials, Kun Hun and Pan San, to inquire about their well-being. Gifts of essential goods and cash were presented, along with well wishes from Minister Net Phakthra.
A delegation from the Cambodian Ministry of Information's Association of Veterans and Retirees visited two former officials on July 31, 2026. The association, led by Mrs. Tuy Serey Rathana Netphakthra, Honorary President of the Cambodian Women's Association for Peace and Development and representing Minister of Information H.E. Net Phakthra, called on Mr. Kun Hun, a former official from the General Directorate of Radio National of Cambodia, and Mr. Pan San, a former official from the General Secretariat. During the meeting, Mrs. Tuy Serey Rathana Netphakthra conveyed the Minister's regards, emphasizing that H.E. Net Phakthra and the ministry's leadership always remember and appreciate the contributions of all retirees who have worked diligently and played a significant role in developing Cambodia's information and broadcasting sectors. The two retirees each received essential goods and cash as generous gifts from H.E. Minister Net Phakthra and his wife, intended to help ease their living conditions. The delegation also informed them about the registration process to become members of the Retirees Association, aiming to foster closer relationships and provide further attention. Representatives from the delegation noted that in the past, some former ministry officials had moved or were staying with relatives, making communication difficult. However, the ministry remains committed to continuing its efforts to locate them, demonstrating its care and gratitude towards former civil servants who served the nation. Source: AKP Khmer
