Mondulkiri Provincial Gendarmerie Arrests Suspect Following Hotline Complaint

Mondulkiri Provincial Gendarmerie arrested a suspect on September 17 in connection with a criminal case, following a complaint received via hotline from a victim. The operation took place at 12:20 PM on September 17, at O'Koki in Rorvak village, Ror Yak commune, Kaoh Nhek district, Mondulkiri province. This crackdown was carried out under the direct order of Brigadier General Tav Chanda, Commander of the Provincial Gendarmerie, who dispatched a specialized force of 6 officers and 2 vehicles, in cooperation with the Kaoh Nhek District Gendarmerie. The operation was led by Lieutenant Colonel Neang Dali, Director of the Criminal Office. According to the source, on September 16, 2026, the authorities received a complaint via the Hotline system from the victim, a 19-year-old female, originally from Kiriraksmey village, Prey Rumdoul commune, Phnom Sruoch district, Kampong Speu province, and currently residing in Rorvak village, Ror Yak commune, Kaoh Nhek district, Mondulkiri province. The suspect is Sok Sambour, a 47-year-old Cambodian male farmer, originally from Jompu village, Chok commune, Ou Rang Ov district, Tbong Khmum province, and currently residing in Rorvak village, Ror Yak commune, Kaoh Nhek district, Mondulkiri province. The seized evidence includes one black Tecno Spark mobile phone.
