Another Suspect Arrested in Kampong Speu Theft Case, Aided Escape

Kampong Speu Provincial Police have arrested another suspect, Leng Keo, 27, in connection with a theft that occurred on September 17, 2026, from within the compound of a school in the province. Keo is alleged to have aided in the escape of two other suspects involved in the same theft. The operation was conducted under the high command of Kampong Speu Provincial Police Commissioner, Major General Khim Sokhai. The arrest took place on the morning of Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the residence of Chuy Sokhny, 21, the girlfriend of the suspect, located in Kok Village, Am Lang Commune, Thpong District, Kampong Speu Province. Authorities seized a knife during the apprehension. Sokhny is also suspected of assisting in the escape. Leng Keo and the two other suspects are believed to have fled by climbing over the fence of the school compound. The arrested individuals have been transferred to the Kampong Speu Provincial Police headquarters for further legal proceedings.
