Indonesia Adjusts Fuel Prices Downward for Non-Subsidized Variants
PT Pertamina is adjusting the prices of some non-subsidized fuels, specifically the Pertamax series, downward starting August 1. This move reflects global oil price trends and currency exchange rates, aiming to ease household burdens and ensure national supply stability.
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has announced a periodic adjustment to the prices of non-subsidized fuels, effective August 1, 2026. This revision sees a decrease in the prices of the Pertamax series. According to VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, these adjustments are made in accordance with government regulations and directives. The company considers the trend of global crude oil prices and the Rupiah exchange rate, while also prioritizing the public's purchasing power and ensuring the availability of national fuel supply. "The adjustment of non-subsidized fuel prices follows government regulations and directives, taking into account the development of global oil prices, the Rupiah exchange rate, and still paying attention to the public's purchasing power. This step is also part of an effort to maintain the availability of national fuel supply to ensure it remains guaranteed for the public," said Kitty in an official statement on Saturday (1/8). Specifically, the price of Pertamax (RON 92) has been reduced from Rp16,250 per liter to Rp15,950 per liter. Pertamax Turbo has also seen a decrease from Rp19,300 per liter to Rp18,300 per liter, and Pertamax Green 95 from Rp17,000 per liter to Rp16,600 per liter. These prices apply to regions with a Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB) of 5%, such as DKI Jakarta. However, the prices for Pertamina Dex remain at Rp21,150 per liter, and Dexlite at Rp19,700 per liter. In addition to obtaining quality fuel at competitive prices, the public can enjoy various attractive promotions through the MyPertamina application, such as cashback, more savings on prices, and loyalty points bonuses from non-subsidized fuel purchases using partnered payment methods. "We invite the public to take advantage of the various promotions available on the MyPertamina application to make non-subsidized fuel purchases more economical and beneficial. Pertamina Patra Niaga is also committed to continuously providing quality energy, maintaining supply reliability, and delivering the best service to communities throughout Indonesia," said Kitty. - Pertamax Turbo Down from Rp19,300/liter to Rp18,300/liter - Pertamax Green 95 Down from Rp17,000/liter to Rp16,600/liter - Pertamax (RON 92) Down from Rp16,250/liter to Rp15,950/liter - Pertamina Dex Remains Rp21,150/liter - Dexlite Remains Rp19,700/liter Source: CNN Indonesia
