Philippines to Hold Biomass Auction in Q4 2026

The Philippine Department of Energy (DoE) plans to conduct the sixth Green Energy Auction (GEA-6), dedicated to biomass projects, in the fourth quarter of 2026. The auction aims to secure 160 MW of capacity to boost the country's renewable energy share.
