Military convoys attacked in Chauk Township, 10 soldiers killed, 2 guns and ammunition seized

Yangon, July 1 In Chauk Township, Magway Region, attacks on terrorist military convoys resulted in the deaths of 10 soldiers and the seizure of two guns and ammunition, according to the People's Defence Force (PDF) General Headquarters. On June 23, a military convoy that departed from the 13th Light Infantry Division in Chauk Township was ambushed by a column from the Magway District Military Command near Zongtawkan village, resulting in the deaths of 5 soldiers, injuries to many, and the destruction of one drone. On June 26, when a military convoy entered Laypin Gohn village in Chauk Township in three columns, spread out abreast, the revolutionary forces had prepared landmines and anti-tank mines, which caused numerous soldiers to be injured and killed, according to reports. On June 27, five Padetha landmines exploded, causing many casualties among the terrorist soldiers. On June 27, approximately 50 soldiers who were dispatched from Myay Ni Line village in Chauk Township with one car and seven motorcycles to reinforce the damaged convoy were intercepted and attacked by units and forces under the command of the Magway District Military Command, resulting in the deaths of an additional 5 soldiers and injuries to many, according to reports. During these attacks, one MA-1 rifle, one MA-4 rifle, 577 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, six magazines, five 60mm mortar shells, two 40mm grenades, two pieces of equipment, three military backpacks, five notebooks, two sets of military uniforms, one military water bottle, and ten mobile phones were seized from the terrorist military convoy. In battles within the operational areas of the Magway District Military under the Magway Region Military Command, a total of 10 soldiers were killed and many were injured, one military attack drone was destroyed, and one MA-1 rifle, one MA-4 rifle, and ammunition were seized. The People's Defence Force (PDF) of the Ministry of Defence, National Unity Government, is fighting resolutely against the terrorist military on various fronts, and the PDF General Headquarters has appealed to the public to provide assistance to the revolutionary forces as much as possible.
