He also urged them to frequently visit and offer comfort to retired personnel. The Prime Minister stated, "Providing financial or material assistance is important, but what is most crucial is the spirit of respect and gratitude between past and present generations. We must not forget them, as they paved the way for us to walk today." Furthermore, Samdech Techo Hun Sen advised local officials in Stung Treng Province to actively participate in the government's mechanism for resolving the Cambodia-Thailand border issues through peaceful means, emphasizing the avoidance of military solutions.
