Laos Launches New Project to Enhance Labour Rights in Coffee, Tea, and Forestry Sectors

Funded by the European Union and led by the International Labour Organization (ILO), the "SOLAR II" project will run from 2026 to 2030. It aims to improve social security, occupational safety and health, and gender equality for approximately 32,000 workers and small-scale producers in the coffee, tea, and forestry sectors.
