Cambodia Offers Over 90,000 Job Opportunities in Oddar Meanchey Province
Cambodia's Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training will host a forum in Oddar Meanchey province, offering over 90,000 job opportunities, social security benefits, and scholarship chances. The event targets former migrant workers, youth, and local residents, featuring free vocational training and on-the-spot interviews.
The National Employment Agency (NEA) of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training will organize a joint forum to bring over 90,000 job opportunities, social security benefits, and scholarship opportunities to former migrant workers, youth, and local residents in Oddar Meanchey province. According to Sun Messa, spokesperson for the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, this "Job, Social Security, and Vocational Training Forum" will be held on August 7th within the premises of the Trapeang Prasat Commune Hall, Trapeang Prasat district, and on August 8th within the premises of Anlong Veng District Hall, in Oddar Meanchey province. Both events will run from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The job fair will provide information on a wealth of employment opportunities, totaling 92,546 places nationwide. Attendees will also learn about free technical vocational training courses and the benefits of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF). Furthermore, participants will receive free food, beverages, and transportation to attend the forum. The spokesperson urged youth, former migrant workers, and local residents who have not yet participated in such forums to attend in large numbers to gain information on numerous job opportunities, as well as to apply and be interviewed on the spot for immediate results.
