Cambodia Intensifies Crackdown on Illegal Fishing Gear to Protect Fishery Resources
In the border areas of Kampong Thom and Siem Reap provinces in northeastern Cambodia, authorities are continuing their crackdown on illegal fishing gear. Numerous illegal fishing devices have been destroyed and removed, with approximately 40 kilograms of fish released back into the river. Authorities are urging citizens to refrain from using illegal fishing gear for the sustainable use of fishery resources and for future generations.
