Five individuals expelled from Party for serious violations

Five individuals have been expelled from the Communist Party of Vietnam for serious violations. These violations include breaches of Party regulations, state laws, rules on prohibited actions for Party members, and codes of conduct for setting an example. The actions resulted in severe consequences, sparking public concern and significantly damaging the reputation of Party organizations, localities, and their respective agencies and units. This disciplinary action underscores the Communist Party of Vietnam's ongoing commitment to maintaining internal discipline and combating corruption. Under its one-party system, the Party periodically announces strict measures against disciplinary offenders to uphold its authority. While the country experiences continuous economic growth, instances of misconduct by some officials have become a social concern, and the Party is highly vigilant against such issues eroding public trust. Previously, similar disciplinary violations led to the expulsion of the former Deputy General Director of Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and several incumbent and former officials in Quang Ninh province. These cases suggest that even individuals close to the top of Vietnam's power structure are not immune to disciplinary breaches.
