Preah Vihear Residents Lament Doubled Electricity Bills

Residents in Cambodia's Preah Vihear province are complaining that their electricity bills have doubled compared to previous months. Despite consistent or reduced usage, bills have surged, coupled with frequent power outages damaging appliances. The electricity company attributes the issue to weather-related network disruptions, but residents remain unconvinced. Provincial authorities have pledged to mediate a resolution.
