Intense Clashes Continue in Hpakant as KIA Recovers Bodies of Junta Soldiers
Fighting has intensified in the Lon Khin village tract of Hpakant, Kachin State, as KIA-led forces engage with junta troops. Following a search operation, three additional bodies of soldiers were recovered on May 6, amid ongoing heavy artillery exchanges that have caused civilian displacement and property damage.
