Dien Bien Province Arrests and Prosecutes 4 Suspects for Gambling Offenses

The Dien Bien Provincial Police in northwestern Vietnam have prosecuted four suspects and executed arrest warrants for alleged gambling activities, in accordance with Article 321 of the Penal Code. This action was carried out as part of public security efforts in the province. Dien Bien Provincial Police are effectively promoting coordination and propaganda on security and order in the grassroots, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force. They are also focusing on activities such as providing free medical examinations and equipment to the community and dismantling transnational fraud rings, contributing to the stability and development of the local community. Under its one-party system, Vietnam places significant emphasis on maintaining social order and adopts a strict stance against illegal activities such as gambling. While pursuing economic growth, social stability is also positioned as a crucial pillar of governance. Particularly in border regions, maintaining security is an indispensable element for national security.
