Vietlott Employees Earn Over 45 Million VND Monthly

In a report submitted to the Ministry of Finance in late June, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) stated that the average salary for each employee last year was 438 million VND, with bonuses and other income exceeding 109 million VND. The total annual income reached 547 million VND, averaging around 45.6 million VND per month. This is a substantial increase from the 32.1 million VND per month average in 2024. This level also significantly outperforms the average monthly incomes of leading provincial lottery companies like Ho Chi Minh City (35.7 million VND) and Binh Duong (40.5 million VND). Vietlott currently has 200 employees, including a 7-member leadership team. The company's Chairman received a salary of 1.38 billion VND and a bonus of 346 million VND. The General Director and deputy personnel received total incomes ranging from 1.4 to 1.7 billion VND. Vietlott is a state-owned enterprise with 100% capital owned by the Ministry of Finance. Therefore, employee incomes are calculated according to state-prescribed formulas, linked to labor productivity and business performance. The average income of Vietlott employees has improved in line with the company's business results. Last year, the company generated revenue of 9.686 trillion VND, equivalent to about 26.5 billion VND per day, exceeding the target set by its managing agency by 11%. Post-tax profit increased by 25% compared to the same period, reaching 354 billion VND, the highest since its establishment. This year, Vietlott has set a revenue plan of over 10 trillion VND for the first time since launching its first product in 2016. This plan corresponds to an average daily sales of approximately 30 billion VND, nine times higher than ten years ago. Vietlott anticipates that sales through mobile channels will contribute 6.030 trillion VND, accounting for over 55% of the total. Approximately 4.760 trillion VND will come from point-of-sale terminal distribution channels, with a small portion from financial revenue. To achieve its goals, the leadership has outlined several key tasks, including expanding sales points, increasing the number of mobile betting accounts, and researching the expansion of business areas.
