Cambodia and Russia Discuss Deepening Trade Cooperation, Focusing on Agricultural Exports and Mutual Investment

On the afternoon of Tuesday, September 22, 2026, Her Excellency Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, held a working meeting with His Excellency Vladimir Ilichyov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of participating in the 58th ASEAN Economic Ministers' Meeting. During the meeting, both sides discussed various mechanisms to strengthen and expand bilateral trade cooperation between Cambodia and Russia more deeply. In particular, the two sides focused on promoting the export of agricultural products to the Russian market and encouraged businessmen from both countries to explore mutual investment opportunities.
