Asphalt Debris Falls on Cars During Rama 9 Road Renovation; Over 10 Victims Report Damage

A series of incidents involving falling asphalt debris from road renovation work on Bangkok's Rama 9 Road has caused damage to over 10 vehicles. Victims have filed police reports, seeking accountability and compensation. The incidents occurred late at night on the outbound lanes of Rama 9 Road, heading from the Rama 9 intersection towards the Ramkhamhaeng intersection. The road is currently undergoing extensive renovation on both its upper and lower levels, leading to severe traffic congestion. Several drivers discovered asphalt debris scattered across their vehicles after parking near the construction site. More than 10 cars have been affected. The affected drivers have gathered evidence, including photographs of the damage, and have collectively reported the incidents to the Huamark Police Station. They are demanding that the responsible authorities or contractors address the damage and take appropriate action.
