Kampong Cham Province Distributes Humanitarian Aid to Needy Families and Elderly
Kampong Cham Province's Stueng Tral District distributed humanitarian aid, including rice, instant noodles, canned fish, and clothing, to eight impoverished families and elderly individuals. The District Governor emphasized the importance of health and children's education, urging local authorities to prioritize residents' well-being.
Stueng Tral District Governor Say Kimlom and his colleagues visited and distributed humanitarian aid to eight impoverished families and elderly individuals in Sre Krasang village, Popok commune, Stueng Tral district, Kampong Cham province, on the afternoon of July 17, 2026. During the occasion, District Governor Say Kimlom conveyed greetings and well wishes from His Excellency Nuon Pharat, Governor of Kampong Cham Province, who always pays close attention to the well-being and living conditions of the citizens and consistently provides support to families in need without fail. In addition, the District Governor urged all citizens to take care of their health, practice good hygiene, eat clean, live cleanly, and to raise their children well, encouraging them to study hard and become strong pillars of the nation, repaying the gratitude to the country and homeland. He warned against becoming delinquent youths, causing insecurity in the locality, and losing a bright and long future. Stueng Tral District Governor Say Kimlom instructed the village and commune authorities to pay close attention to the living conditions of all citizens, ensuring that no one suffers from food shortages or illness without the authorities' knowledge. For residents suffering from various serious or mild illnesses, he encouraged them to receive services from the Popok commune health center or to request an ambulance, a valuable donation from His Excellency Thao Jesta, Head of the Working Group for Stueng Tral District, to transport patients to the provincial hospital as needed.
