Fake ex-DENR employee arrested for P700,000 land registration scam

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested a man posing as a former Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) employee who defrauded a 72-year-old woman of P700,000 by promising to help register her land. The suspect had allegedly victimized others using the same modus operandi.
