
Lacson: AFP, PNP won’t be affected by destabilization plot
Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson expressed confidence that the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) will not be affected by supposed destabilization schemes involving 18 bagmen linked to former lawmaker Zaldy Co. He stated the uniformed services have distanced themselves from the bagmen, predicting the plot's failure. Heightened security is already in place at the Senate.
