Vietnam to Enforce New Rice Export-Import Business Regulations from October 1

The Vietnamese government has issued a new decree (Nghị định số 365/2026/NĐ-CP) governing rice export-import business, effective October 1. The decree outlines regulations for rice export-import, temporary import-re-export, temporary export-re-import, transit trade, and processing for foreign markets. Businesses must meet conditions like having specialized warehouses and milling facilities and obtain certification from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
