Central Luzon to plant, distribute 1.6M seedlings for Arbor Day
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Central Luzon will plant and distribute over 1.6 million tree seedlings across the region for Philippine Arbor Day on June 25, aiming to restore forests and enhance climate change resilience. This initiative is part of the agency's Enhanced National Greening Program, building on a decade of planting more than 88.4 million seedlings and rehabilitating over 138,000 hectares.
