Police Officer Suspected of Shooting Kindergarten Teacher Dead at School in Banglamung

A kindergarten teacher was shot dead on school grounds in the Banglamung district of Chonburi on Wednesday morning, police said. Young pupils were present at the time of the incident. Police were alerted at about 10:30 a.m. and subsequently identified a police officer as the suspect. Officers have since surrounded a nearby house where the suspect is believed to be located and are attempting to negotiate his surrender. The motive for the shooting is not yet known.
